Today is a great day. Not only am I going to the San Diego Comic-Con, but I woke up to find the final pages of the last issue of VIKINGS vs SAMURAI Buğra Batuhan Berah sent me in my email inbox! I’m still reeling.
This story has it all! Jarl Rådulv, Rødrick the blind shaman, Snorfingr the sellsword, treacherous Hansel, the evil Lord Tsukamoto, and the star of the show, Brynhildr, the shield maiden. Buğra and I literally give birth to her in the first panel!
Brynhildr is close to my heart. She took her sweet time to reveal herself to me, but man, was it worth it. I didn’t know back then, but Brynhildr would become the protagonist of VIKINGS vs SAMURAI, and I can’t wait for you to meet her.
