Comic Books and Punk Rock

You know what I love? Comic books. They’re not just ink and paper. Comic books helped teach me how to read. Comic books sparked a sense of wonder.

Through comic books, I’ve time-traveled to places you wouldn’t believe, dimensions that’d make your head spin. I’ve seen the world through a hundred different eyes, questioned my existence, and the world I live in.

Comic books tell stories in ways no other medium can.

So, yeah, I love me some comic books.

Writing comic books is a hell of a lot of fun, too. And challenging. It’s one thing to read comic books and quite another to write them. Can I spin a yarn that’ll have you on the edge of your seat in just one single page? And can I do it without a single word uttered? Can I tell a longer, more complex story? We’re going to find out. And I’m documenting the journey here, and I hope you come along with me. I mentioned the fun part, right?

I lucked out, folks. I grew up on that do-it-yourself punk rock ethos. “Just do it.” So, I’m doing it. And webcomics feel punk rock. I’ve got a posse of incredibly talented artists by my side, and together, we’re going to tell you a saga of blood, honor, and savagery!

Buckle up, buttercup!
