I just tore through Joe Abercrombie’s The Blade Itself. Thunderation, what a wild ride! That dude’s got a powerful authorial voice. Now, usually, I ain’t too keen on getting sucked into some never-ending book series, feels like the publishers just tryna bleed us dry, you know? But, hell, I might just have to bend the rules for Abercrombie ‘cause this stuff’s too good to pass up.
