The Doom-ridden Sound of Mørketsland
🎧 In the beforetimes, I journeyed to the bustling metropolis of Los Angeles for a concert featuring Heilung. At first, I was skeptical of their musical stylings, likening it to the melodious musings of a Nordic Enya. But oh, how wrong I was! Their tunes grabbed hold of me, taking me on a journey with shamans, warriors, and shield maidens. It was an experience I won’t soon forget.
As I delved deeper into the world of Heilung, I discovered a whole new genre of music. Artists like Wardruna and Munknörr drew me in, and now I eagerly await the upcoming release of ProtoU and Oljus' Mørketsland album. ProtoU has graced my podcast, Soundwave, as a guest deejay on several occasions. I'm a true believer in her craft, and after hearing the preview tracks from her collaboration with Oljus, I can say with certainty that it will be a haunting and doom-laden masterpiece. The release of their album cannot come soon enough!
