Shōgun looks dope. It’s based on James Clavell's bestselling novel, which was also adapted as a television series in 1980.

Back then, I was knee-deep in giant monsters and robot flicks, missed most of the samurai drama. Regrettable, 'cause word on the street is Toshiro Mifune was bringing the thunder as the Lord of the Kwanto.
